The marketplace had just opened, and I had finally made time to go. When I entered the marketplace shortly after it opened, people were surrounding every produce bin there was. All I could hear was the sound of mumbled voices. Walking through the market, people kept bumping into me. It was extremely crowded everywhere I went.

Here I was looking for some fresh fruit, but I couldn’t even find my way around the place with all the people around. Finally, I caught sight of a bin of apples, so I made my way over. Immediately I could smell that fresh fruit smell, and I had forgotten how much I loved the smell of fresh fruit.

I finally made my way toward the cash registers after navigating my way through the crowd, but the lines were long. I got into the shortest line and all I could hear were two young women who were in front of me complaining about their boyfriends and their relationship drama. Finally, it was my turn to pay, and I set all my fruit up on the counter. I paid, then told the cashier to have a good day before I left.
