I hear the footsteps come down the steps. I see the smiles on the children’s face. Today is a special day. I wait all year to see them play with the toys that we make. Being an elf can be a lot of work. Days and Days making toys for one special day, but it’s all worth it when we see the child’s face. Santa may bring all the toys for the little girls and boys, but it is the elves that do all the work. So when you open your presents on Christmas Day say thanks to Santa, but for get to say thank you to the elves too.
