Blue

I walked past the ocean, seeing the full, blue waves sparkling under the sun. I ran through the water with my grandmother next to me, running vivaciously. The beach was empty, for it was a cold, cold day. The silence was beautiful, and not even a seagull dared to break it. I watched as in the distance, a mother whale was leading her baby through the ocean. I smiled. Next to me, my grandmothers baby blue dress blew in the wind, peacefully. Her straw hat was beautiful, with a small pop of red bringing color. The sun was starting to set, and I watched as the fair blue sky melted away, slowly. I heard the fish, blubbering in the ocean. I saw a man approaching. His hair glistened under the light, and blew in the wind. I said hello, and slyly at that. I didn’t want to ruin the moment. I watched as he approached, his eyes dancing towards mine. I melted. My grandmother left to start dinner. It was salmon, ironically. Me and the man danced with the fish, splashing and laughing. He commented on my dress, and said he wished he could see more. Finally, when the moon arose from its slumber, I slipped a kiss. A long, beautiful kiss. I felt his soft lips on mine. He looked at me, and held me close. In those beautiful blue eyes, I could see that we would meet again.
