WRITING OBSTACLE
Write a 4-stanza poem, using the word ‘stretch’ in each stanza.
Perhaps you could use the repetition to shift the meaning of the word each time it is used, or to emphasise a theme.
Stretch Me Thin
Thinning my patience, all I can do is stretch
I feel so elated there’s no cries of pain when I stretch
How am I blessed? I’ve ran out of strength every time I stretch
So how long can I do this until I’m laying flat on a stretch?
