Shadow-

Seeing her like this breaks my heart so. If only I could tell her what was going on behind her back. The way he betrayed her by loving another woman. The way he lead her on. I wish I could have told her.

Lily-

How could he do this to me? I bit my tongue to hold back a sob. It feels like someone is squeezing my heart tugging at it to rip it out. Oh god… oh god why? Everything I gave and lost for him… I wish I could have known…

Shadow-

I watch her with sad eyes. “I’m so sorry Lily… I’m so sorry.” I want to hug her so bad. Tears prick my eyes and I roughly wipe them away biting back my anger. I don’t deserve to be sad. This is my fault. I reach out to her as if to hug her. If only I could-

Lily-

I gasp quickly turning around looking around the empty room. I swear I felt something touch me..

Shadow-

I yank my hand away shocked. I reach out once more and hug her tightly

Lily-

I sigh defeated and close my eyes. I don’t have enough energy to worry besides if this is the only affection I can have then I’ll take it.
