The Truth.
The truth finally came to light.
He was fooled, not for the first time in his life.
He saw good in everything and everyone, he wanted to fix what was broken.
She wanted to stitch him together again even though his heart and soul was in a million pieces.
So many flags, she saw them as red. She ignored them and held hope she had found her true love.
She cut everyone off that she loved, but did she really? It ultimately was coerced in her to do it, so she did it like the good girl she always was.
She made mistakes, she was only human after all.
She played his game right back at him, but you see the anger and rage was about to appear.
She didn’t want to relive this again, she begged and held hope that she would soon be out of this.
When her father passed on, she awoke from her slumber. She realised the many red flags she ignored the whole time. He promised her everything she ever wanted then he cruelly took it away from her.
But you see, the twist to this poem is that the girl stood tall each time, she straightened her crown and kept going strong.
He may have left without looking back but really, he actually set her free.
The girl turned into a woman, she always was just a girl because she was taught to be like that.
The woman turned into the queen she was always meant to be, but now she searched for her true alpha.
So you see, the truth finally came to light. She became wild and free, just like she was meant to be.
And she couldn’t give a fuck about the ugliest or the ugly.
