Write a poem that begins with a focus on loss, and concludes with a focus on love.
Think about the sturctures and flows that you can use to change the focus from beginning to end.
Daytime
Have you ever been in love?
Begin again, lonely mass,
Your star trail is home.
Wipe clean the journey of your return,
The daylight screams upon you.
Carry the weight of a missing limb,
Flailing from your feet.
You’ll smoothe through the sand one day,
I promise.
One step Infront of the other,
The tides will embrace you.
Have you ever been in love?
Did it remind you of a setting sun?
