The echoes of a heart pounding, hands clapping, eyes crying, feet tapping. The sound of fighting in the street. The laughter that makes my stomach hurt. What will my life be without it? What will my life be without the music that enters my system? What will my life be without the reassurance I much need? Will your kind hands caress my face when I can’t hear any compliments? Will a hug erase my coldness? Will a stare communicate full thoughts? Will a dance heal my bruises? In a living torture I might be, as I’m unable to hear what I subsist for. Living in silence is living inside my body, I do not know how everything works, but I live.
