Lindsey looked down at her children. One was just a toddler and the other was a newborn. She couldn’t pick between them. They hadn’t even gotten a chance to see the world. Lindsey didn’t know if she wanted them to see it if this is what people are doing now, but they still deserved a chance to live. Maybe things would get better. Deep down, Lindsey knew things wouldn’t. She knew what she had to do. She knelt down and gave both of her children a kiss on the forehead and headed outside to the cart in which so many people were waiting to die. She was going to save her children
