(This is one of my first attempts at poetry and I have no clue if I counted the syllables correctly but enjoy!)

My beloved star

You are the eternal light

In my darkest times

I will love you forever

My sun, my hope, my one desire

How you look at me

Seems like a fragment of dream

While I hold your heart

I can give nothing in return

You need stars, I am the moon
