I thought this as the idea of losing you swelled in my head again, gripping your hand in mine, your warmth radiating through our palms.

This ‘stick’ had shaped us both, past, present and our futures.

Those ‘memories’ shaping our hearts and souls.

We hold this stick though baby, we point it in the direction we want, we care for the scars that happen because of it.

Our loves, wants, needs, passions and deepest thoughts shape said ‘stick’.
