POEM STARTER

The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold; a place once so magical now hurt to behold.

Write a rhyming poem that ends with this line.

Deaths Dance

Love at first sight Not pausing for breath, As we danced through the night To tango with death The gods playing chess Writing fate with the stars, The thrill, I confess Pulled at my heart Souls intertwined In a play still unread, To walk through time That had already, been spent Your hand slipped away As death took his dance. Whisking you from me The rhythm too fast I fell too my knees And the fall never stopped Deafened by silence Your footsteps now lost I peer up to the Gods, Through rain stricken eyes Looking for peace, As they take, a roll of the dice The sky full of stars seemed dead and cold; a place once so magical now hurt to behold
