You are lying in the grass staring up at a multitude of stars in the night sky. Write a poem about what you imagine life on a distant planet to be like.
Another Today
Still today occurs on every point,
Whether night or bright or full of blight.
As I see the stars up in the sky,
Each one glints with its own worries of today.
There’s an ordinary in every place of space.
What’s common and what’s not.
Up there, on a planet far away,
I’d still be looking out,
To imagine another today.
