One Big Lie

There I was sitting at my mothers grave when I saw someone sitting just a few grave stones away so I stood up, walked over and I asked “hi how do you know this person?” Then all of sudden before she could answer we heard someone say “I live here now get out.” So of course we started running and running until we ended up at this diner so we went in to see if anyone could help us. But once we went in there was no one there so we left and kept walking. So sense we did not get to talk I started asking a few simple questions. “ Hi my names is Dook what’s your name?” It took her a minute to answer but then she said “ Hi I’m Linsie nice to meet you Dook. Nice to meet you too Linsie.” After a couple more minutes of silence we ended up at this wierd place I’m not really sure what to call it but we went over and that is when I saw my mom with my dad but my mom hand died two months in advance and my dad was on a business trip for some new movie or something but it does not matter now what matters is that my mom was standing with my dad under this arch type of thing so I looked at Linsie and said “ That is my mom and dad and my mom just recently passed away and my dad is on a business trip” she looked at me and said “ This might sound like a crazy question but are you sure your mom is dead?” While she was saying that I was already starting to question that. “I can see there mouths moving let’s get closer and see if we can here them” Linsie said. I agreed. Once we got closer we heard my dad say “ How much longer do you think we can keep the secret that your not dead. I think Dook might start to get suspicious soon” my mom replied with “ I was thinking the same thing we should just tell him” Then me and Linsie left and I walked her home. Once I got home I went to sleep wondering why my parents would lie about my moms death. Then once I woke up I heard the door open my dad was back. I went down stairs to see him and there my mom was standing there next to my dad. I ran over and gave her a hug. I decided to pretend that this was my time hearing this. I also decided not to ask any questions. I never saw Linsie again but u do sometimes wonder what she was doing at the grave sight yesterday. But what will never leave my mind is that why would my parents lie to me but I guess I will never know.
