Write a poem which focuses on the theme of magic.
This doesn't have to be fantasy-style magic; it could be any feeling or atmosphere that is magical.
Before
The stars hold truth in them
The water holds memories
The winds whisper of mysteries yet to be seen
Can we find them?
Can we travel back in time
Before anxiety
Before ADHD & ADD
Before depression
Before OCD & EDs
Before this world met hell
See the beauty we missed?
The nature we destroyed
The water polluted
Everything we ruined?
The dark side of the world
Mythically released from Pandora’s box
We all know that’s just a story
Before the world became politically divided
Before we knew the world would end in some trillion years
When all we knew was the quiet
& peace
W/ little, small worries
Can we go back?
I want to find that magic.
