WRITING OBSTACLE
Write a love letter to something in nature.
Affection directed towards nature is a frequent theme in poetry, so now try making it much more literal! The letter doesn't have to be written as a poem, but you could use poetic devices to make it feel more romantic.

I’m fine, but you’re hurt, so I’m hurt until we’re both fine
But when I’m hurt, I know it’d hurt more to be the reason you’re not fine
I live in fear that if you hurt because of me, I’ll be the reason that you’re not mine
Then we’re both not fine
I love speaking to you, I love to listen
If I’m to be your rock, I have to glisten
An endless creek of unfollowed wisdom
Is needed, to keep you in my kingdom
If given the choice, I’d want to support you forever
I believe this communication can bring us closer together
In every short silence I begin to miss you
In every passing moment, I just want to kiss you
Is this too good to be true?
All this bliss—am I able to bring the same to you?
If it’s all the same to you
Just know that I would change for you
In the Savannah that is this life, you are my oasis
With you, I would never feel envy, or beg to switch places
In the Savannah that is this life, you are paradise
But I’m ever so honored to say the one that’s mine
Is a celestial body—so divine
