POEM STARTER

Compose a Tanaga on the theme of laughter.

A Tanaga is a form of Filipino poetry often compared to Haikus. Tanagas use 4 lines of 7 syllables each, and are often full of metaphors.

Ocean Eyes

Laughter’s shield, a sweet disguise,

Ocean eyes hide stormy skies,

Underneath her smile, pain lies,

Beauty's cloak, where sadness flies.
