Honesty
You like the taste of sugar.
Soft liquid dripping like honey from your lips.
You worship it.
You’ll let it pull you to the edge of a mountain,
Squeeze your heart so it no longer beats to a rhythm,
Dismantle you without objection.
You worship me.
The bumble bee attracted to your scent,
Buzzing around you,
Distracting you from imminent devastation.
I’ve reeled you in with adrenaline,
And liquid ecstasy
Until you’ve succumbed to the sweetness
That oozes out of me.
It becomes your addiction,
And one by one
Your teeth decay in your palms.
