POEM STARTER

Write a poem about contentedness that makes use of anaphora between the end of one line and start of the next.

Anaphora is the repeating of a word or phrase for a specific impact. It can be used at the beginning of all lines, or at the end of one and beginning of the next.

Forever Chased

Chased by the reality of not being enough, worried it might last forever Chased after heights while being rebuffed, overreached without hesitancy forever Chased by bullies in all shapes and size, they nipped at my heels forever Chased after the prize with unrelenting pursuit, unwilling to settle forever Chased by desire to do more than most, a goal line relocated forever Chased after dreams, not for almost, discontent fueled the fire forever
