Life In Your Hands
One human is too much.
One human should not hold the power,
To embrace another with death.
Whether biased or neutral,
It does not matter,
It should be no human nonetheless.
One human should not decide,
Who gets to live or die.
Only those who are ready to leave,
Should get to painlessly recede.
I will take their places instead,
So none will end up dead.
If their fate could really be bright,
Then trust me, I’ll be alright.
I’m not sure if you’d do the same,
Whether it would be yourself that you’d blame.
Please nurture this unwilling life in your hands.
