Melinda knows that it’s time to reveal to her husband where she goes every night. Her husband Ben thinks she works as a waitress at the local over night diner. Tonight she will tell him the truth. She didn’t bother the get dressed just her comfy robe.She decides to cook this big dinner tonight. All of her husbands favorites like Baked chicken , Asparagus and Brown rice. Also a little red wine doesn’t hurt.After she’s done cooking they sit down to eat. She hope he can take what she is about to tell him.

“Honey, all of this looks good. I’m surprised you are home tonight. What they have another waitress doing your shift.?”

“ No, tonight I decided to cook and spend time with you. I also wanted to talk to you.”

“Great, let’s eat. What do you want to talk to me about?”

“ I know that you are wondering what I do every night and where do I go.”

“Yes, I do at times but I know what you do you work at Ram Cooks as a waitress. I just wish you wouldn’t work all night. I didn’t think that place would be that busy over night.

“Well I have a confession , I don’t work there and that’s not where I’m going at night.

“It’s not?”

“No” Melinda stands up and tells her husband “Honey I hope , you are ready for what I’m about to show you.”

She unties her robe slowly and reveals her Supergirl suit.”

Ben’s mouth drops open and smiles.

“Ooh , I like role playing but let me finish dinner first”

No honey, this is what I do.

I am Supergirl.

At first he thought she was kidding but he realized that he was standing in front of the real Supergirl.

“Oh my god, is this a joke?”

“What do you think?I love you too much to keep this secret anymore.

“So , let me get this straight while I’m sleeping your not waiting tables your fighting crime.”

“Yes”

“How?….when?”

When I was in college, we had a project so I made mine a superhero suit but while working on it I plugged my phone in one hand and a scissors in another I got shocked and the suit as well when I put it on to make sure it was ok the suit started making me do things I never did before and from there it gave me powers that I didn’t even know I could do. Once I put it on I become Supergirl mind and body”

“Wow ,I don’t know what to say.”

“I hope this don’t make you want to leave me”

“Leave you !!! what are you talking about?”

“This is all so crazy, I thought you would head for the hills”

“Honey” Ben starts to laugh it will take more than you being Supergirl to make me leave. I love you.

“Aww honey” , they both kiss and decided to head to their room
