“Sometimes you just have to laugh. You have to make jokes, you have to smile. But, what’s really important, is that you have to make others smile. Make them laugh with your jokes no matter how stupid they may be. Try to make everyone’s day just a little bit brighter.” She said to her son looking at him in the eyes. There was a solemn expression on her face. Almost as if she weren’t really there, as if she were in her own little fantasy world. And that that world was better than this one. This world didn’t have enough jokes in it. It didn’t have enough laughter and smiles in it. There were people crying, people taking this to literally, and people frowning. This world was horrible compared to her world. The only good thing in it was her son, Leo. She knew her son would make people smile, make them laugh with his jokes. She just had to have faith and hope. Neither of which were really present in this world.
