POEM STARTER
Write an Epode based on any theme you like.
An Epode is a style of poetry where each verse is two lines which differ in meter and structure, but the second line is always shorter than the first.
My friend sadness
Sometime my friend sadness takes up too much place in my room.
Sometime she won’t let my other friend happiness enter.
Sometime I do miss my friend happiness but sadness don’t like her.
Sometime I want my friend sadness to go away but she is too heavy so I can’t push her out of my room.
Sorry but now I have to go, I have a friend waiting for me in my room.
