When I’m Gone
What will I leave behind?
What memories remain?
When my life is in rewind;
Will my legacy sustain?
When my candle has been extinguished;
And I go into the great unknown.
Do not weep for me in anguish;
For I will watch how you have grown.
Though you cannot see me;
Beside you, I will be.
