so, she shrugged and turned with a smile for the truth had been there all the while covered with dirt from head to toe put hand to mouth as she said “i know” the look on his face was purely distraught she watched his brain race thought to thought he dropped the shovel and began to weep she picked it up and knocked him to sleep then shovel in hand and glove in the other she swept over dirt to be sure it would smother leaving the scene in lack of much haste she left a white glove so perfectly placed.
