POEM STARTER
Write a poem casually and nonchalantly reflecting on a hugely important event.
What kind of language could portray this tone even when the content is important?
chasing lies
too busy chasing lines
& wasting too much time
Not figuring out our lives
neglecting our husbands & wives
ditching our nine to fives
& drinking til sunrise
with tired & bloodshot eyes
we are not the good guys
leaving would be wise
if I could cut some ties
& take a step aside
& kiss these vibes goodbye
