Eyes Of Stars

**_Dawn down unto dusk,

The black of night coats the sky in a thick dark coating.

Stars, white paint splatter,

Omit your distant unheard of light between empty space.

Curious small husks,

Omnipotent eyes that are bound to the sky, they’re floating.

Stars, we don’t matter.

Judge us careful as you shine, we’re in competitive race.

_**_Strive for the approval of onlooking stars,_

_You know you will never be equivalent. _

_In your blindness, head first into prison bars, _

_And you know this is what they always had meant. _

_As you open your eyes, you still find your surrounding room. _

_The night has only just begun, sleep for the watching gloom._
