Create a poem that delves into what is communicated in moments of silence.
Dark Grey
As she stares into my dark grey eyes,
As I stand in the dark grey water,
She looks within my soul and frowns.
There is nothing for her there.
I may love her to the dark grey moon and back,
But my dark grey soul is not golden enough.
Not strong enough,
Not sturdy enough,
Not wrought iron and blackened wooden enough.
If I could prise the eyes off the soulless stare I give her,
Maybe she could see the resolve within me.
I am not her. I am not with her. I am not within her.
She turns away.
