Small Town Feels

It was a small town; the type of place where everyone knew everyone. Well, not literally everyone knew everyone, but the town had that kind of feeling. People would gather at the local restaurants or the chocolate shop to catch up on the going ons of each other’s lives.

Every Monday, the post office parking lot would be full of cars coming and going, receiving their mail, or sending things out.

The flower shop did a small but flourishing business, customers coming in for a varying of reasons. Perhaps for a bouquet for their daughter’s birthday. Maybe a corsage to give their wife for their upcoming anniversary. Or maybe it's just to purchase a succulent to grow at their house.

The library, with it's stone architecture and new wood floors, also attracted a small but decent amount of people. There were children, dropped off for school, who would spend a few hours reading books or researching subjects. Men and women alike would walk through the big wooden doorway to browse the treasures within.

There was a dentistry business, a small clinic, and even a chiropractic office in the town, providing for the needs of both her inhabitants, and others from the area.

Everyday, people could be seen walking their dogs down the sidewalks, stopping every now and then to chat with passersby. Even in the winter, once the walkways were cleaned off, several of those same people would brave the cold to get out for a stroll.

It was a small town, but the people who lived there, called it home and loved it greatly.
