You’d think it would be scary,

Floating through the void,

But it’s not all that bad.

The cold envelops you,

And welcomes you in,

Until all you feel is peace.

A star on your left,

A planet to your right,

The universe drifting by.

You can’t feel your heart beating,

Or your chest rising and falling,

Everything seems so still.

Then out of the stars comes a sound,

A quiet melody,

That you slowly drift into.

The harmony grows stronger,

But still delicate,

And you find yourself joining in.

Your eyes start to close,

And your heart ceases to beat,

As you begin to shine.
