His Failed Experiment.
“Clean up the blood. I’ll get rid of the expirement.” The scientist demanded his young assistant who was frozen. Not at the blood-curling sight of the corpse—if he could even call it that, but at the order. “Yes, doctor.” The assistant said brightly and didn’t waste another moment. The scientist wiped the sweat from his brow with the back of his blood-drenched sleeve and huffed.
The beakers and endless rows of mixed compounds hissed as he walked past with the failed experiment dragged under him. He held onto the experiment’s ankles, inevitably leaving behind a trail of blood.
“Why?” He muttered under his breath and glared at the experiment. “If you only did your job right, we wouldn’t be here...”
As expected, he received no response.
“…has been reported missing, prompting local law enforcement to initiate a throughput invetigation into the disappearance…”
The small tv connected to the wall suddenly spoke. On the screen appeared the picture of a young lady, wearing a long white coat. A bright smile plastered on her face—nothing like the deformity of her face. The scientist smiled warmly at the beauty before him. The beauty he got to know before she failed to do her job right.
“Look. Its you sweetheart.” He held her hand and fiddled with the matching, bloodied ring on her finger
