It began with vinyl, and a love of a American singer who shook his hips.

She had every song she could buy with pocket money and played them after school or after Top Of The Pops, dancing with her sister.

Then she got a bit older, her sister married but they still danced to records spinning on old players.

Cancer took her sister and her brother in law sold the records. Luckily she found her sisters collection in a charity shop.

Cassettes, cds, you name it she had some Elvis on hand. She played them in the car when I was little, and we all sang along.

Now she’s back to collecting vinyl in every print she can; they pile high though she plays him on her phone and I can’t help but dance with her…
