Dost Thou?

Dost thou care for a drink?

Reddened wine makes thy cheeks flushed.

I can make thou smile in a blink,

Have ravaging dreams crushed.

Dost thou mock my words?

I count it not for entertainment.

Having thou chained like birds,

A pretty pearl not in displacement.

Dost thou crave to dance?

Seeing thy beauty rise in each step.

Coconut eyes assemble thy trance,

I’m happy to say in light we met.

Dost thou care to kiss?

Thy purest form keeps me awake.

Splendid sunset in splendid bliss,

Without thou, no babies we could make.

Dost thou have to die?

I beg thy not to leave.

Yet now God mocks my life as a fly,

As for thy life…I can only grieve.
