Self awareness is the biggest rediscovery in life.

Once you are aware of your triggers, thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and trauma, that’s when you truly begin to know yourself. That’s the first step to growing. You can’t help yourself when you don’t know yourself. Once we grow up and no one is telling us how we need to live, we discover our true values. Our truest self. We start to unlearn beliefs and learn new knowledge. We begin to have empathy and not hate others for their wrong doings, because everyone’s life is hard. We stop blaming others and we take responsibility for our part in mistakes. Once you discover who you are and what you believe you will see that subjective thoughts of others don’t matter. You are no longer against the world, now you just want to better yourself. Year by year you grow. Day by day you win. Because you are no longer caught up in others lives, but your own.
