Change
Living the same life,
Over and over.
You dropped weight like crazy.
Your heart rate fastens.
However you don’t notice.
You go to the doctor,
For a regular check up.
The doctor notice these changes.
They always notice.
They tell you to change.
You don’t find it a big deal,
And shrug it off.
Go about your day.
You cant carry stuff,
Like you used to.
Your heart beats out of your chest.
Constantly you feel tired.
So you go back.
The doctor notices,
That you’re smaller,
And recommends change.
You’ll die otherwise.
“Your body eats away at itself”
They say.
“I say you have 5 years left.”
You’re young.
And yet dying so soon.
You return home,
And cry for awhile.
You need help,
But don’t know who to ask.
Therapy is expensive,
And so is treatment.
But you get to the point,
Where you have no other choice.
