A Cats Story
(Fido’s pov)
I woke up early in the mourning. Jumping up onto the window ceil I watched a red bird in the backyard. The sunlight was warm on my fur.
“Okay I better get to work.” I said to myself. I jumped onto kimo’s bed digging my claws into the mattress I was able to climb onto it. I rubbed my head across Kimo’s hand purring. I meowed loudly in his ear. Kimo groaned.
“Be quiet Fido it’s Saturday.” He said rolling over. I began to lick his face. “Okay okay I’m up.” Kimo sat up and petted me on the head. I followed him as he headed downstairs to eat breakfast. He put my kibble into my bowl and sat down at the table. I gobbled up the dry pellets. Then I walked up to Kimo and meowed. I had learned that if I did this he would slip some food under the table and feed it to me. After a while Kimo had to leave for school. I didn’t know much about school, but I did know it ment that Kimo would be gone for a while. So I curled up on the couch my chin
resting on my paws.
Before long, mom woke up and sat next to me on the couch. She scratched me behind the ears. I sighed that was the best. I lapped up those scratches like the spoiled house cat I am. Before long I fell asleep. When I woke up Kimo was home from school.
“Nice to see you awake Fido.” Kimo said. I purred. Walking to the door I sat down and meowed. “Fido it’s cold outside.” Kimo said. I continued to meow. “Okay just for a little while.” Kimo walked over to me and opened the door. Honestly I do not understand why they won’t just buy a cat door. I sighed.
“I wish I had thumbs.” I said. I didn’t know what Kimo was talking about it was a great temperature outside. I fell asleep. I had a great human, all the cat naps and scratches I could ask for. Life was good.
