Write an ode to something that others perceive as silly, but matters a lot to you.
An ode is a type of lyrical poem that typically addresses a particular subject in a positive and glorifying light.
If Joy Was…
If joy was a seed,
I’d plant it everywhere,
By the river, by the mountains,
even where there’s dirty air.
If joy was a seed,
I’d have joy bees,
That spread it around
the flowers and trees.
If joy was a star,
It would shine the brightest,
So everyone can see it,
Even at their darkest.
If joy was all mine,
I’d share it with you,
Cause all the best things,
Come in two.
