The Dance Of Moonlight
I crawl through the cold, hard floor of the hospital. The lights are out and i set fire to my room so no one can come get me or find me. The smoke is dark and thick, it’s hard to find my way. My head smashes against a large door. I somehow mange to get myself to stand up on my numbs that I’m forced to call legs and crash the door open. The cool white light shinning in the sky as i admire the white shining dots in the dark purple sky. My hands guide my body as i feel spiky material under my palms, it was a dark green and it had these things sticking out of it. They were longer strands of the material, but with feathers at the tip of it. I crawl towards them as i get out a sigh. They detached from the strand and started dancing in the soft white light. I felt my body lift off the ground. I look behind me and see my featherless wings flapping and dancing with the strange feathers. My body turned around as i saw the place i once called home burn into nothing my ash. I move with the ash and sing the songs of the roaring flame. I grab the bones of my sisters and use them as an instrument to the song of the night. My vision may have been havled and i may not by able to walk with legs. But nothing will shake the feeling of flying the moonlight, with the hungry flames and the dance with nature.
