POEM STARTER

Submitted by C.C Charlie

Write a poem about someone on their way to face their enemy.

An unusual theme for poetry; see how you can portray rivals and conflict in poetic form.

Facing A Foe

Of to face death A woman so cold and cruel My foe of forever With one final duel If I walk away alive I’ll live the life of glory And if I die while fighting I hope it won’t be gory I grab my sword Tighten my grip I can’t mess this up All it takes is one little slip I think the ways I’d kill her O, I have a hundred in mind But I have finally settled For stabbing her from behind She massacred my family Because, “they told her to” Well at least I can kill her My face will be her final view When I reach the empty field She’s far but still in sight My heart starts racing Im not ready for a fight
