When I close my eyes
I close the door to the gray
mistakes and follow
the map to the lost city of
redemption
smokestacks pumping out
clouds of cotton candy
gentle on the eyes
not bad for your teeth
birds can swim
fish can fly
you’re fly fishing
smiling
I can still call you whenever I want to
