Like broken glass, I cracked.

The tears flowed from my eyes.

As you’d gaze upon my true form.

One that wasn’t beautiful.

A creature of my own sins.

Mistakes formed into a being.

That was I.

You’d scream and recoil.

Curling in on yourself.

As you ran, there I stood.

Processing the outcome of my actions.

The hero turned creature.

Left to suffer the consequences.

Meant to die eternally.

This was the end.

I’d make you black and blue.

As I followed you straight out the door.

Where we’d both fight.

And the winner shall prevail.
