2 Sets Of Eyes

Bees offer honey far more readily than they sting But assumptions are made for flesh and for skin Your flipped inside out pulled by your heart Yet before they look there they tear you apart Instead of healing your heart you draw a new stripe And hope that you heal from only their sight look at you from the eyes in their heads I don’t stand a chance! they have made my heart blind I’m still in a trance. Where is the rest of me I’m a hollowed chest! You get what you see, when what you see is your nest.
