POEM STARTER
Write a poem that could be sung as a lullaby.
You could set it to the tune of an existing lullaby, or think up your own rhythm. Remember that lullabies are for children, and are ususally meant to be calming.
Mani
There is a legend that says there is a man in the Moon
His name is Mani
His sister, the sun, is Sol
He shines bright in the night
Creating a guiding light for those who travel at during the darkest hours
He is the protector for the young ones
He fights for those who cannot fight for themselves
As you sleep, know, Mani watches over you
So sleep now dear young one
Beneath the light of the Moon
The one called Mani
Sleep peacefully
For the Moon shines bright tonight
Dream of the man in the moon
