Write an Etheree poem on any theme you like.
An Etheree is a ten-line poem where the first line has one syllable, the second has two, and so on up to ten syllables (or this structure in reverse).
Broken Promises
Lost
Broken
So alone
No help, no hope
Why did he promise
He would never leave me.
But I should have known better
He left me alone and broken
Eleven years of friendship and love
Years gone because he feared the full truth.
