If wishes fell like rain then certainly I am a storm.

But isn’t wishing everyday part of the daily norm?

We wish we could be more successful, have more money, or be more happy?

But if I got every wish I ever wished how interesting would my life even be?

I’ve come to realize that even tho I have so many wishes in my heart

That these dreams are what sets me and you so much apart.

Although we all may have wishes in all our dreaming

It is the road that gets us there that gives life its meaning
