Every tear you shed sparks a fire in my chest,

Like a candle desperately seeking revenge.

The water pouring from your face

Only makes the anger in me grow.

Whoever has done this horrible thing to you,

I shall set this candle in their house,

Until the fire has either grown too large

Or until it knocks over.

I would kill anyone for you,

And do it without a second thought.

If only you loved me so

And didn’t constantly put the candle out,
