POEM STARTER
Write a poem about a window that is stuck open and can't be closed.
What does this window represent in the poem?
Unfurled Casement
The casement to my aorta
became unfurled.
Pouring rain of ebullience.
The one my heart unfurled for.
He looked at me like I was his
whole universe.
I cried because I was
full of dead stars
and broken debris.
But he still called me pulchritudinous.
