If a scream tears through the night, and everyone is asleep, will anyone save the helpless boy that has been abandoned by the one god that was supposed to be his savior?

Julian, a 23 year old atheist, is trying hard to make his band popular by playing at clubs and other places constantly. Then one day, he spots a boy too young and out of place to be in a bar.

Casper, a 19 year old devout christian, has never once stepped out of line when it comes to worshipping god. He goes to church every sunday, and prays every chance he gets. And yet, somehow he ends up at a bar, listening to a band play music way too loud for his liking.

When both boys' worldviews are drastically altered, an unexpected connection forms between them.

(ik the whole religious-trauma thing isn't everyone's cup of tea, but i'm really excited to write this book!! Getting to know my characters will be a fun journey for me and hopefully everyone else along for the ride! i've introduced them a bit in my past writings and stuff, yet i'm just as unfamiliar with them as you all are)
