A Message From An Old Friend
Unknown number: “You still haven’t shown up, what the hell”
Me: “I think you have the wrong number”
Unknown number: “Don’t play dumb”
Me: “Who are you”
Unknown number: “I’m the one who gave you the scar”
My mouth dropped and I reached up to feel the large scar on my face.
Me: “Why are you messaging me?”
Unknown number: “Last I checked you ran out, and you left at a dangerous time”
Me: “How did you find me?!”
Unknown number: “I’ve known where you’ve been ever since you bailed. I know you’re new phone number, I know you’re fake name, I know where you say you went to school, and I know where you live. You can’t hide from me, I have people watching you. Always”
Me: “Loik I dont want any tribal what do you want?”
Me: “*Look”
Me: “*Trouble”
Unknown number: “If you didn’t want trouble, you should have stayed.”
Me: “What do you want?”
Unknown number: “Your going to have to come back”
Me: “I can’t. I have a new life, I have a job. I don’t need this any more”
Unknown number: “You don’t have a choice”
Me: “You can’t make me”
Unknown number: “Can’t I?”
Me: “What are you going to do to me?”
Unknown number: “If you come, nothing. If you refuse, I think you know what I’ll do”
Me: “Fine.”
Unknown number: “We’re not in the same place,”
Me: “Where are you then?”
Unknown number: “you’ll see.”
…
A bag was put over my head, and everything went blank
