Oliver’s life was robbed of his childhood. Both his parents killed by humans, he and his twin sister, fairies left alone. He was a sun fairy while his sister was a moon fairy. He had gotten taken as an experiment. They were testing a way to make people’s emotions go numb. This harmed Oliver deeply because it caused him to undergo mental and physical damage. He was abused and abandoned and alone. He was stuck for three months until his sister Odette and his cousin Jessamine saved him and others. For months, he was angry. He was angry at what humans did to him, scared for his sister and cousins, scared for the future, angry at all humans. All the humans that made sh** like this, made violence possible. Humanity sees satisfaction in violence, this was a fact. If they had removed the satisfaction what would be left? He paced back and forth, as a fairy it was his job to see the morality of one, for a fairy’s job is to be guardians of morality. He had to think, think like his dad, think like his friends, think on how to save humanity. But in that time, Oliver thought deeply if humanity was worth saving. He should focus on school, and his chance of making the world less cruel as a normal person. Was maybe, opening up their eyes to the cruelty around themselves and anything living hopeless? Was this all a waste of time?
